I am Kimon Matara, Character Rigger.
I have over 15 years of experience rigging characters in Maya for episodic, film, commercials and realtime at Framestore, MPC, Electric Theatre Collective, Nexus and other studios.
I am interested in both the UX and coding aspects of workflow design, and particularly enjoy implementing Python automation pipelines from the ground up. I am the author of Paya, a PyMEL superset for Maya riggers.
I pride myself on an excellent working relationship with animators.
I work remotely out of sunny Nicosia, Cyprus (EU) and am open to short or long contracts as Lead or Head.
