Duties
I led all rigging on Cinesite's chunk of this show. This comprised detailed digidoubles for Riri, Attuma, Okoye, Namora and a number of Talokanil warriors, as well as numerous vehicles and props.
Building on work I'd started on Shell Shapeshifter, I wrote a mini-language to notate maths-based DG networks, and used this to develop 20+ custom rig modules for hair, cloth, appendages, accessories, slidy skin effects, suit and vehicle mechanisms and more.
I independently rewrote this system and released it as an open-source package, Paya, which can be found here.
I also rolled out a complete multipose pipeline to allow us to rig on Lidar (scan) pose but animate from clean A-pose, along with a range of miscellaneous animator and pipeline tools.
